'Break Away' Fences and Dog Friendly Rocks.

Late last year I was contracted to build some special FX props for the Channel 7 Drama, A Place To Call Home.

These props included a series of fence railings that needed to be 'Break Away', which meant they were to be broken through safely by a runaway horse. Also some soft replicas of a rock that were scripted to be thrown at a dog.

I was given one of the actual fence railings to work from. Above is the moulding of the original. Probably the longest two part mould I've had to make at 3.6m.

Virgin Mobile Marquee Sign

To kick off my blog, I'm posting about my latest project. A carnival style marquee sign. I was contracted to build this sign by talented stylist and close friend Emily Sarks. Who at the time was styling a party for Virgin Mobile.
